It has a king bed and two twin size 6 inch Memory Foam Tri-Fold Futon Mattresses w/ sheets/blankets and pillows available for the 3rd and 4th guests. The bedroom has direct access to the rear deck with sitting areas. The property is located at the base of Brian Head, about a 20 minute drive up/down the mountain in Parowan on the road to the Gap. We are just minutes off the I-15. Onsite Penumbra Chipping Golf Course is for EXPERIENCED golfers only. This is for putting/chipping NEVER DRIVING. Golf clubs/balls available upon request. Onsite children's playground has three swings, climbing net, fort and slide. Guests must supervise children using the playground. Convenient locations with benches and shade are available for parents to watch their children in ALL play areas. Use of the monkey bikes requires signing a liability release and wearing a helmet. The onsite "peddle" NOT RACE course is designed for kids (adults) to safely peddle the little (very strong) monkey bikes on a 1/4 mile winding paved course (on property) surrounded by beautiful landscaping. We also offer (weather permitting) a scavenger hunt game for kids and adults where you try to locate over fifty art objects cleverly located on the Tacit Shadow resort property. Prizes offered to children based on the number of art objects located. (Check list given to each participant) Use of the onsite theater requires advance notice and is not always available. If your group has a technical person that can run projectors and video equipment it makes such use easier. The onsite disco/dance club is open sporadically with planed, local, staff and family events. If this is something that interests you, please ask about any scheduled events. Most the time staying guests are welcome to join the fun. We have a lot of regular guests that often make such use happen as they are familiar with the club. Of course this can always be included with wedding and special event packages as well as conference events (Silhouette Onsite Conference Center with Video Conf. capability). Other Details to Note

Environmental Sensors: Small wireless sensors are located throughout this home (small black boxes with antenna) to remotely monitor temperature, water, & motion, in order to alert owners to possible freezing or flooding conditions. Please do not remove or tamper with these sensors. Tacit Shadow Resort access is controlled by automated gates and digital bedroom door locks. Guests will be provided an access code for entry. In addition, there are security cameras on the exterior and public areas of the property.

Tacit Shadow Shangri-La is beautifully located just minutes from the I-15 but in a cozy and quiet part of Parowan at the base of the mountain. Brian Head ski resort is just a 20 minute drive up the beautiful mountainside (well maintained and plowed roads). Parowan has an amazing quaint main street with many boutique and "mom n pop" stores. We boast several hometown dining options as well as some conventional fast food spots. Parowan's own market is conveniently located right on your way into town and always has your essentials (just two minutes from your room). Don't forget to fuel at our family owned chevron or the mainstream Maverick right across the street just 4 minutes away. Parowan has several public parks as well as a public library and pool for the kid's. There are several historic sites and buildings to see as Parowan is called "The mother town" of southern Utah being one of the first communities to be established in the area. The community is a safe and quiet little country town with genuine country folk that are very friendly and helpful.

In the city of Parowan there is NO paid parking. All parking is FREE and plentiful. This is a safe city where the community/residents know each other. Community events are often and a fantastic experience. Local restaurant cuisine is both amazing and a great deal ... super affordable! Walking or bicycling is the main form of transportation. Brian Head Resort does offer shuttle service from Parowan to/from Brian Head during the winter ski months (November to May). Take a walk from our Tacit Shadow Resort to main street and you will meet so many friendly people that would love to discuss where you are from and tell you their favorite things to do in the area. There is NO city in Utah that compares to Parowan. We are located a couple minutes form the Parowan Market. Crazy good grocery store with meat prices/quality better than Walmart or anywhere in Southern Utah. Go in and get some fresh meat and/or locally grown produce. FYI: the lines can be as much as 30 seconds to check out ,,, yes a real local market. If you want the best of the best, stop by the Dry Lake Ranch Beef store on main street. Buy top top top quality beef and bring it back to Tacit Shadow to BBQ on one of our many BBQ's or use the on-site Traeger and smoke it. It is not cheap but it is FANTASTIC! Most all our staff is trained on the Traeger, so if you don't know how let us show you how to smoke the meat/veggies Utah style.
